TAKANORI MATSUMOTO

3. Born in Nishinomiya, Hyogo prefecture in 1964, Takanori Matsumoto graduated from Hyogo Prefecture Nishinomiya-Imazu Senior High School. After graduating from Meiji Gakuin University Faculty of Law, he joined Kinki Bank, Ltd. (the present The Kinki Osaka Bank, Ltd.). Matsumoto gained experience in international operation and debt coverage. He then joined a business revitalization consulting firm. Afterwards, Matsumoto worked in governance which is his area of specialty as a project manager in a company listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He is the former vice president of Hojo Railway Co., Ltd. operated by a third sector company funded by Hyogo prefecture. The process of revitalization was reported in "Nikkei Business" and "News Anchor", Kansai Television. Matsumoto has a profound experience as a manager and chief financial officer (CFO).

In 2011, Matsumoto established Strategic Consulting LLC. Since 2012, he is actively working in turnaround projects (business revitalization) for overseas Japanese-affiliated companies.
